Obituary: Mrs. Deleski, 83, To Be Buried at Argyle Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Deleski, 83, who died Monday at Grand Forks, will be held Friday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Argyle with Rev. Henry Rousseau officiating. Reviewal will be Thursday afternoon and evening at Norman Funeral Home in East Grand Forks.
Mrs. Deleski, the former Rose Lubanski[Slobaszewski], was born Aug. 18, 1880 at Ashton, Neb[Pennsylvania]. She was educated there and married Joseph Deleski Feb, 5 1906[Feb 11, 1907]. The couple farmed near Ashton until 1918 when they moved to the Argyle area where they farmed until 1943 when they moved to Argyle. Mrs. Deleski had resided in St. Anne's Guest Home in Grand Forks for some time. Survivors are two sons, Joe of Moline, Ill, and Tony of Argyle, a daughter, Mrs. Steve Brody of Astoria, Ore; nine grandchildren and three great grand children.
