MILDRED KINSEY BAKER
Publication Date: November 29, 2006
SAN ANGELO — Mildred Kinsey Baker went to be with the Lord and her husband at 11:45 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, in Grapevine, Texas.
Mildred was born Sept. 15, 1928, in San Angelo, Texas, to Harvey and Essie Kinsey. She married Evert C. Baker on April 10, 1950, in San Angelo. She was a member of Sierra Vista United Methodist Church.
She loved her church and she loved the Lord.
Mildred is survived by her loving son, Evert C. Baker Jr. of Dallas; three daughters, Katherine Baker of Denver, Tami Mirasola of Houston and Sue Taylor of New Braunfels; seven grandchildren, Steve Baker, Baylea and Chase Taylor, Kaycie and Kellie Baker, and Tony and Audrey Mirasola; and sisters, twin sister Mary Anglin of Midland, Judy McVay of Boerne and Betty Sewell of Lubbock; along with several nephews and nieces.
Our mother's last desire was to spend Thanksgiving in her own home surrounded by all of her children. We were all so very blessed to have been given this opportunity.
Mildred had an extended family at the Goodfellow Arts and Crafts Hobby Shop, where she will be greatly missed by her friends.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in Belvedere Cemetery. Fellowship at Sierra Vista UMC will follow the burial.
The family would like to thank Sierra Vista for loving our parents.
In honor of our mother, in lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
