Luther Harold Perkins (Pop) was a veteran of WW II serving in the US Navy as a Seaman 1st class with an honorable discharge. Hew waS awarded the WW II Victory Medal and the Asiatic/Pacific Campaign Medal.
He was a son Of Horace ALva and Rebecca Perkins.
He and his wife Sadie (Engle) had 2 children, Carol Jane and Luther Daniel.
He loved cars and fishing. He retired from TVA, Guntersville Dam.
