A native of Spartanburg, she was the widow of Charles Raymond Cox and daughter of the late John L. and Elmer McAbee Steading. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Kay Willard of Spartanburg; three sisters, Minnie Belle Fortenberry, Clara Reynolds and Elmer Richards, all of Spartanburg; one brother, Jack Steading of Spartanburg, three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 tonight at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Reverand John Lynch.
