L. P. Coker, 63, Buried Thursday
Funeral services for Mr. Luther Pascal Coker, 63, well known citizen of Candler, were held Thursday afternoon at Hopewell church there, interment being in the church yard.
Rev. B. H. Smith officiated. Born in Banks County, he had lived here many years, was a farmer and member of the Methodist church, acting as Sabbath school superintendent many years.
Surviving are three children, Rex, Grover and Miss Nola Coker, Candler; two sisters, Mrs. G. J. Hanes, Gainesville, and Mrs. W. S. Todd, Middleton; one half-brother, Guy Mize, Candler.
