Myrtle Bennett, 90, of 430 5th Avenue, Hendersonville, North Carolina, died at Pardee Hospital after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of Hendersonville, Ms. Bennett was a daughter of the late Foster Bennett and Laura Carter Bennett. She was a member for 79 years of the Hendersonville First Baptist Church, where she was active in the Women's Missionary Union. She is survived by her sister, Eunice B. Tillotson of Hendersonville and Ruby B. Russ of Waynesville, and several nieces and nephews.
