Henry Clay Lamb, 84, formerly of Chloe, died Tuesday (Aug. 14, 1990) at the St. Barbara's Memorial Nursing Home in Monongah,following and extended illness. He was born Feb. 25, 1906, at Douglas, a son of the late William and Osie Jarvis Lamb.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Marjorie Witt Lamb, in 1981.
Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Carr of Madison and Ivalou Bourne of Pittsburgh: one son, Fred Lamb of Philippi; one sister, Alice Arnold of Orma; one brother, Aaron Lamb of Clendenin; six grand-children; and four great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two infant daughters.
He was a member of the Douglas United Methodist Church at Chloe. He was retired from the Columbia Gas Co.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg with the Rev. Hobert Carr officiating. Burial will follow at the Lamb Cemetery at Chloe.
