Donald Davenport, 51, Runnells
Donald Kellogg Davenport. 51, of Runnells, died from complications of multiple sclerosis May 15, 1999, at Kavanagh House on Grand in West Des Moines. Services were held May 18 at Woodburn Christian Church in Woodburn, where he was a member, with burial in Woodburn Cemetery.

Mr. Davenport was born in Osceola and had lived in Detroit before moving to Iowa in 1974. He was a mechanical engineer at Deere and Co., a farmer and a member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Survivors include his wife. Joanne; a son. Jack, and a daughter, Angela, both of Indianola; a stepdaughter, Amanda Hocking of Des Moines; a stepson, Ryan Carman of Runnells: two brothers. Glen of Osceola and Marian of Detroit; and a step-grandchild.
