Roxie was my 4th Great Grandmother. She lived in New York where my 4th Great Grandfather David Foote passed away.

According to Susan Atwater Thornton whom wrote in 1999 about David Foote: Died April or July 22, 1840 of typhoid fever? in New York state. According to Jean Andelson, Nettie Atwater said he died of heart disease. She moved to Michigan after his death with some family members.

Sometime before her death the Foote's dropped the 'e' in Foote and became Foot.daughter of Levi Atwell (1770-1847) & Mabel Stoddard (1773-1848)
