Jordan R. Adams-Meckola, 17, of Aurora died Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Miller Dwan Burn Center in Duluth due to complications following a serious welding accident during school.

He was born June 12, 1992, in Duluth to Deborah (Johannsen) and Richard C. Adams. In 1995 when Jordan's mom married John Meckola, a new family bond was formed. Jordan was a junior at Mesabi East High School in Aurora. He was currently a member of the Mesabi East golf team and had played hockey for Eveleth-Gilbert and grew up playing baseball until joining the golf team. He was very much a sports fanatic. Jordan loved spending time with his family, friends and cousins and had many fun camping trips. He and his brothers were best friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Althea Adams; and uncle, Greg Adams.

Burial will be in the Rauha Cemetery in White Township.
