Ronald Alvin Faulkner, 74, of Highlands was born February 4, 1940 in Conroe and passed away Friday, May 30, 2014, in a local hospital. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Highlands and was a retired heavy equipment operator for Harris County. He served in the U. S. Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis and was stationed in Panama, where he was a member 508th Regiment. He was a member of The Texas Lone Star Chapter of the 82nd Airborne Division Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elsie and Altha Lea Faulkner and wife, Judith Louise Faulkner. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Mark Andrew Faulkner of Spring and Matthew Allen and Janine Faulkner of Beach City; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Sophie Faulkner of Gonzales; grandchildren, Brittany and Brandi Faulkner; and numerous cousins.

There will be a memorial service Tuesday, May 3, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Faulkner officiating.
