A memorial service for C.D. Castleberry, 74, of Terrell, Texas, will be held Friday, Feb. 7, at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Emory, Texas, at 2 p.m.

Mr. Castleberry passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at his residence. He was born June 14, 1939, to W.M. and Maudie Polson Castleberry of Rockdale County. He married Laverne M. Morris and she preceded him in death in 2011.

C.D. was a Mercedes enthusiast and a salesman for Mercedes. Mr. Castleberry was a wonderful husband and father. He loved his family and cherished the time they spent together.

Mr. Castleberry is survived by his son, Craig Castleberry and wife Amy of Plano, Texas; daughters, Dawn Castleberry of Denver, Colo., and Melody Castleberry of Irving, Texas; grandchildren, Kristen Castleberry and Lane Castleberry; cousin, Gwen Bagley of Suwanee; plus numerous other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and twin siblings at birth.
