Eugene Louis Sprinkle, 78, of Fulton died at his home on April 11, 2011. Gene was born in Fulton, Texas on November 13, 1932 to Lydia Grasse and Malcolm Sprinkle.
He is survived by his children; Genevieve Sprinkle (Ryan Green) and their children Gordon and Azulina; Patricia Sprinkle (Steven Coursen) and their son Whitfield; Gale Sprinkle Tousignant and her children Savannah and Max Brooks of Wausau, WI; Jed Sprinkle and his son Zacharey; and his longtime companion, Rosemary Forbes of Fulton.
Gene was CEO of Sprinkle Inc., building many docks, piers and boat davits in the local area. He served proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War. At 15, Gene was the youngest founding member of the original Fulton Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid fisherman and loved the bays, birds and breeze. He was passionate about the unique ecology of Aransas Bay and was committed to its preservation for future generations.
