He was married December 16, 1900 to Lillie Turner of Dunlap. To this union 10 children were born: Clarence of Peoria, Hazel Stiegele of Dunlap, Wilbur of Princeville, Florence Arnold of Princeville, Lois Poplette of Peoria, Benton of Princeville, Grace Lemm of Peoria, Robert of Dunlap and Helen Trickle of Princeville, Bryon, twin of Benton, passed away at the age of 13 years in 1932.

He served faithfully on the high school board of education for 21 years and also served as assessor for Radnor township.
He was a member of Sylvan Odd Fellow lodge of Dunlap fro many years. Besides holding the various offices he served as Noble Grand, the highest office of the lodge. He also was a member of the Past Grand Lodge of the district

Sunset and evening star
And one clear call for me.
And there may be no moaning of the bar
When I put out to sea.
For tho' from out our bourne of time and place
The flood may bear me far.
I hope to meet my Pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar."
Funeral services for Mr. Pullen were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Bouton Memorial Home with Rev. R. C. Mader of the Methodist church in charge. Interment was in Prospect cemetery.
