Myrtle Mae (Leach) Abernathy was born in Covington, TN. Moved to Memphis, TN. 34 years ago. She was a member of Decatur Street Christian Church. Wife of William (Bill) Abernathy.She leaves her husband of the home, two sons, Robert D Abernathy and Danny W. Abernathy of Memphis and four daughters, Jeanette Rook of Memphis, Wanda Storm of Fayetteville AR. Billie Marie Wingo of Austin Texas and Robin G Abernathy of the home. She also leaves 14 grandchildren. Myrtle was a woman of faith and strong convictions and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
