Franklin Page Carroll is an Iowa native born February 8, 1845 to Benjamin and Carroll. No 1850 Census has yet been found yet, but their family is listed in the Wayne Township, Monroe County, Iowa 1860 one.
F. P. married Mary George January 23, 1863 at Georgetown, Iowa (Monroe County).
Her obituary states that "the early married life was spent in Iowa, near Georgetown".
The Wayne , Monroe County, Iowa in 1880 notes farmer Franklin and Mary, Keeping House, are raising 13-year-old Amos, 11-year-old Freeman, 9-year-old William, 7-year-old Albert, 4 year old Rosa M, and 2 -year-old Emma R.
"In January, 1881, the family came to Stanton County (Nebraska), and took an active part in the early history of the county. Mr. and Mrs. Carroll united with the Methodist Episcopal Church Feb. 1885".
Frank Carroll died September 2, 1908 and is buried in the Stanton, Nebraska Cemetery.
