Paul Brodbeck was born near Jefferson, Pa., March 14, 1882, and died in the York Hospital, January 9, 1952, aged 69 years, 9 months, and 25 days.
Mr. Brodbeck was a well-known and highly respected citizen in the community in which he lived all his life. His pastor found him a good and loyal friend, and a member of Christ Evangelical and Reformed Church, Jefferson, Pa., with which he became united April 30, 1916. He served as deacon from 1919 to 1922.
The funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon, January 12, 1952, in the Goodling Funeral Home, Seven Valleys, Pa. His pastor brought a message of comfort based on the text: I Cor. 13:10, "But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away." Burial was made in the Jefferson Cemetery.
