Alice was the proprietor of the Style Shop for women, on the south side of High Street, Mineral Point, WI for over 30 years. Initially, her first store was in an upstairs building on High Street.

Iowa County Democrat, Mineral Point, WI Thu, Feb 13, 1908 Pg 8: Notice recorded that Alice had gone to Ponca, Nebraska, for an indefinite stay with relatives and friends. [*friends would have included former residens/friends, that included Carpenter family members].

When necessary, she normally retained Joseph J. Fiedler, Atty. for legal representation. aka (Fiedler Fiedler & Jackson -(1921).
