Mr. Burdette was born Oct. 30, 1946, in Stamps, Ark. He was a Postal Service employee and a V ietnam War Air Force veteran.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Eric and Kerin Burdette of Omaha, Neb., and Brandon Burdette; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Howard Burdette of Cedar Hill, Texas, and Gerald and Ethel Burdette of Fort Washington, Md.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Kenneth Johnson of DeSoto, Texas, and Brenda and Alonzo Bradly of Texarkana; and one grandchild, Mariah L. Burdette.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday June 11, 2009 at Richardson Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Alonzo Roy officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Stamps Arkansas
