Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Edgemont Bible Church, 5100 N. Illinois St. Fairview Heights, Ill. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens.

Ronald Brodwater Ronald "Ron" B. Brodwater, 73, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born Feb. 20, 1936, in Camden, N.J., died on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill. Ronald was a United States Army veteran. He was a longtime member of Edgemont Bible Church, Fairview Heights, Ill., of where he taught Sunday School and Bible Studies. He designed and built the church and additional buildings including the classroom space and the gymnasium. Ronald enjoyed wood working to the fullest. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Wesley and Florence May, nee Irwin, Brodwater; and one brother, William Brodwater. Surviving are his loving wife of 50 years, Judith nee, Kandle, Brodwater of Fairview Heights, Ill., whom he married on June 20, 1959; three children, Ronald B. (Pam) Brodwater Jr., of St. Louis, Mo., Susan (David) Mackenzie of York, Pa., and Mark Brodwater of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.; grandchildren, Ronald B. Brodwater III of St. Louis, Mo., Kara Mackenzie of York, Pa., Austin Brodwater of St. Louis, Mo., Kaitlin Mackenzie of York, Pa., Bethany Mackenzie of York, Pa., Stephanie Brodwater of St. Louis, Mo., and Aimee Mackenzie of York, Pa.; one brother, Michael (Sandi) Brodwater of Coeurd-Alene, Idaho.; a sister-in-law, Janet Brodwater of West Virginia.; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
