Edward J. Gaustad, 66, of 6222 Cochrane St. died Wednesday at Sacred Heart Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 am from Lenmarks, the Rev. Harold Peterson officiating. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery.
Mr Gaustad was born in Eau Claire and has lived here all his life. He was employed at the White Machine Works for 35 years, retiring two years ago. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church and the S.A.F. For the past 23 years. He has made his home with his aunt, Mrs. Anna Hysen. He is survived by one son, Gerald of Madison, and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from this afternoon until the time of the service. The family suggests memorials to the First Lutheran Church.
