Mr. Black passed away in Houston, in an automobile accident. Mr. Black was a junior at Conroe High School, the school athletic photographer and was active in speech and theater. He also attended Evans Junior High in Lubbock, Texas. Donations may be made to M.A.D.D. in Lubbock, Texas. Survivors: mother and step-father, Mary Black James and Delwyn T. James of Lubbock; grandmother, Sibbie Hudson of Conroe; two brothers, Norman Lee Black and P.J. Black, both of Lubbock; uncle, Dave Lee Black of Houston; step-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas James of Anton, Texas; and friend, Leo Hewett of Conroe.
