Mrs. Carl Baumann, 55, town of Stettin, a lifelong resident of Marathon County, died last night at 9 o'clock at a local hospital, following a long illness. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at Trinity Lutheran church. The Rev E H Beramann will officiate and burial will be in the town of Maine Cemetery.
Mrs. Baumann, the former Frieda Zimmermann, was born in the town of Berlin June 15, 1885, and was married there October 12, 1904, to Mr. Baumann. Surviving are her husband; five children, Arnold Baumann, town of Maine, Edwin Baumann, Milwaukee, Mrs. Arthur Marquardt, town of Corning, Lincoln county, Mrs. Earl Bird, town of Stettin, and Mrs. Melvin Worden, 414 N Second Avenue. Also surviving are two brothers, Otto Zimmermann, town of Berlin, and the Rev. Herman Zimmermann, Randolph; a sister, Mrs. William Rusch, Merrill, and eight grandchildren.
