Mrs. Cloie Ann Burgess, 78, of Rt. 1, Pocahontas, passed away in White River Medical Center, in Batesville on Monday. She was born in Kansas, a daughter of the late John Lewis and Adeline (Weaver) Rowe. She is survived by her husband, John Guy Burgess of the home; three sons, Zan Burgess of Pocahontas, Sidney Burgess of Massillion, OH, and Guy Burgess of Batesville; six daughters, Mrs. Martha Dean of O'Kean, Mrs. Faye Ferrell of Hardy, Mrs. Christine Tinker of Cahokia, IL, Mrs. Elsie Cox of DeWitt, Mrs. Lucille Lundry of Mammoth Springs and Mrs. Maudie Secrest of Bay; 52 grandchildren, 108 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
