***My Great Paternal Uncle**
Mr. Frank McKinney was born to the parents of Mr. Rogers and Mrs. Gertrude McKinney in Navasota, Texas.
He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined the Missionary Camp Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Reverend R. W. West. He gave a long and devoted service in his church.
He met and married Miss Mattie Victoria Ford. To this union three daughters were born. His wife preceded him in death.
Mr. McKinney moved to Fort Worth in 1942 and united with the Greater St. John Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Reverend W. T. Talley. He remained a faithful and loyal member until death.
In 1944 he was united in Holy wedlock to Mrs. Willie Mae Horton with whom he was happily married until death.
He was employed at Armour and Company for 21years before his retirement in 1955, following his retirement, Mr. McKinney drove for United Cab Company.
He leaves to mourn his homegoing: a devoted wife, Mrs. Willie Mae McKinney, three daughters, Mrs. Frankie Chandler of Fort Worth, Mrs. Bessie Mae Brown of Houston, and Mrs. Jimmie Ray Crownover of Fort Worth, one adopted son, two adopted daughters, three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Mae Behn of Berkeley, CA, Mrs. Ethel Mae Williams of Ennis, TX and his youngest sister*privacy protected. fourteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
