Mary Catherine "Mollie" Humerick was born November 17, 1869, in Emmitsburg, Frederick County, Maryland, the daughter of George Thomas and Anne Lydia Jackson Humerick. She married Charles L. Reynolds and they had one son, George B. Humerick. Mollie passed away on December 16, 1949, in Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania, and was buried on the 19th in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Emmitsburg.

"Emmitsburg--Mrs. Mollie Reynolds was admitted on Tuesday morning as a patient at the Annie M. Warner suffering from complications. Her condition is reported serious."

"Mrs. Mary Reynolds, of Emmitsburg, widow of Charles Reynolds, died at 4:10 p.m., Friday at Annie M. Warner Hospital, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, of complications, aged 80 years. She was a daughter of the lateGeorge and Annie Jackson Humerick, and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Sodality and Rosary Society. Surviving are a son,George Reynolds, Baltimore, and these sisters and brothers: Mrs. John Kelly, Mrs. Edwin Chrismer, Jackson Humerick, all of Emmitsburg; Mrs. Elizabeth Pfeiffer, Baltimore; Albert and Bernard Humerick, Altoona, Pennsylvania. Funeral will be held Monday morning at ten o'clock with Requiem Mass at St. Joseph's, Rev. Michael O'Brien officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. Prayers will be held at the late home Sunday evening at eight o'clock. S. L. Allison, funeral director."

Funeral services Monday at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Emmitsburg, conducted by the Rev. Michael O'Brien. Interment in the church cemetery.
