Again on the highway of life we step aside and with bowed heads watch the passing bier of another of our most esteemed pioneer co-workers -- one who for almost a half a century helpled make history in the Fort Worth Schools.
"Miss Jennie," as she was lovingly called by most of her closest friends, was indeed a pioneer in every sense of the word -- kind, brave, generous, and with untiring energy doing her bit toward the advancement of mankind. She has passed into the presence of "The Great Teacher," leaving her monument erected in the hearts and lives of those who worked with her and studied under her.
We cannot doubt that she "builded better than she knew."
