Norbert R. Gust, 75, of East Grand Forks, MN died Friday, July 15, 2011 at his home.
Norbert Gust was born June 5, 1936 in Sullivan Township, Polk County, MN, the son of Charles J. and Mary A. (Kotrba) Gust.
He grew up in the Tabor, MN area and attended rural Tabor school. He worked for Frank Mack Farms, for a number of years and then farmed with his brother, Donald. He also worked at American Crystal Sugar Company during Campaign time for a number of years, retiring at the age of 62 years.
He is survived by his sister, Martha (Merle) Carter and brother, David Gust, both of East Grand Forks, MN, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Helen Bruley and Mary Vanyo and one brother, Donald Gust.
Memorial services were Friday, July 22, 2011, 1:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, East Grand Forks, MN.
Visitation was on Friday, July 22, 2011, Noon - 1:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, East Grand Forks, MN.
Burial was on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Tabor, MN.
