MRS. EDMUND BRUNEAU DIES
Pioneer Resident of Keweenaw County Passes at Age 53
Mrs. Edmund Bruneau, aged 53 years, and one of the most widely known woman residents of Keweenaw County, died at her home at Phoenix at 10:30 yesterday morning. She was born and reared in Keweenaw, living all her life at Phoenix and had been outside of the county only twice. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. J.A. Wilson of Republic, Roy of Gay, Mrs. Charles Bryant of Phoenix and Ed, Oliver, Beecher, Norman and Miss Pansy, all at home. Her husband also survives, as does a sister, Mrs. John MacAulay of Devils Lake, N.D. Funeral arrangement are held, pending receipt of word from Mrs. MacAulay.
Mary Ann married Edmond Bruneau on Feb. 23, 1891.
Roy L. Bruneau married Adeline Krause on July 26, 1906. Adeline was the daughter of Jacob and Laura (Knoll) Krause.
Beecher Bruneau married Maude Mattie, daughter of Stephen Mattie.
Susan Bruneau married John A. Wilson. John was the son of Ole and Emma (Davidson) Wilson.
