OBIT: MRS. LILLIE F. CRAFT-
Lillie F. Craft, daughter of George and Susan Peyton, was born December 25, 1890 in Ebon, Ken., and passed away in the Bates County Memorial Hospital on February 20, 1969 at the age of 78 years, one month, and 25 days.
On December 22, 1909, she was united in marriage to William Craft. She is survived by two sons, Harold Craft, Wichita, Kans., and Archie Craft, Portland, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Lena Morse, Butler, Mo., and Miss Opal Craft, Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers. Tom Peyton, Hamilton, Ohio, and Ed Peyton, Korea, Ken.; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and other relative and friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral services were held from the Virginia United Methodist Church Sunday afternoon with Rev. Emil Muhlhausen officiating. Rev. and Mrs. Muhlhausen sang "Whispering Hope" and Beyond the Sunset." Mrs. Helen Hill played before and following the services on the church organ. Bearers were Larry Craft, Kent Craft, Earl Earls, C. C. Cunningham, Jack Morse and Clifford Bruner. Interment was made in the Virginia Cemetery under the direction of the Archer & Mangold Funeral Home.
