Francis Alice Charlton wife of Edward C. Charlton, died Friday evening at 4 o'clock at the home in West Weber after a long illness. She was born in Slaterville, March 9, 1866, the daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah Wheeler Etherington.

She moved to West Weber with her parents in 1869, where she had since made her home. She was married to Edward C. Charlton, November 26, 1884, at Logan. The decedent was an active member of the L.D.S. church.

She is survived by her husband, the following sons, and daughters: Thomas E. and Albert R. Charlton of West Weber; Mrs. Parley Marriott, Plain City; Alfred E. Alvord, Plain City; Mrs. Sterling D. Thompson, Plain City; Alice and Louise Charlton of West Weber; the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Samuel Hadley, of Taylor, Mrs. Hyrum Goodale of Ogden; Mrs. J. R. McFarland of West Weber; Mrs. Joseph Blanch of West Weber; Mrs. P. F. McFarland of West Weber; James A. Etherington of West Weber; George W. Etherington of Heyburn, Ida.; John Etherington of Plain City; Mrs. H. B. Dance of West Weber, Mrs. M.R. Montgomery of North Ogden, and 21 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in the West Weber meetinghouse Monday at 1 o'clock. Bishop George A. Heslop will conduct the services. The body may be viewed at the home Sunday. Flowers left Monday until 11 o'clock at Lindquist's parlors will be taken to the home.
