Nancy married James Board Sr in 1760 in Bedford Co VA. They had thirteen children, nine sons and four daughters, all of whom were born in Bedford Co VA.
The family migrated to KY sometime after the 1800 Tax Census, probably settling on land James received from his military service during the Revolutionary War.
Nancy's parents are unknown at this time. Alive on the 1820 census, Nancy died sometime before her husband write his will in 1825.
Note: The name "Mississippi" was found to be an error. Taken from her name recorded as "Miss Moorman" and assumed by some researchers to mean Mississippi.
