Mrs. Lula I. Dodson
Mrs. Lula Inscoe Dodson, 81, died Wednesday at 7:55 a.m. in the Hillhaven-LaSalle nursing center after
a two year illness. She was a native a Granville County and had lived in Durham for 67 years. She was
a member of the Edgemont Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Hudson Funeral Chapel by the Rev. John Freeman.
Burial will be in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Surviving are two sons, John Thomas Dodson of Norfolk, Va., and W. David Dodson of Sacramento,
three sisters, Mrs. Doza Daniel of Piedmont S.C., and Mrs. Annie Herndon and Mrs. Daisy Williams,
both of Durham; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Tom Inscoe, Wallace R. Inscoe, Harry G. Inscoe, Bobby L. Inscoe, Andrew C. Williams,
and David Latta.
