We have already chronicled the death of Miss Kate Atkinson, of Preble. The funeral occurred from the French Church on Saturday morning, the remains being conveyed to the Allouez cemetery. The deceased had not been well for some time, but her death was jastened by brain fever. She was an amiable young lady, and will be missed by her family and many friends. She formerly taught school in the county, but during the past two years has been housekeeper for her father, Mr. Thomas Atkinson. Her death removes his last daughter.
