Mr. Kenyon passed away at the age of 81, in West Bloomfield, Michigan. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 53 years, Carol (nee Hogshead) Kenyon, who passed away in May of 2012. They had a very happy marriage. He was born in Chicago, IL, and moved with his family to Detroit. He was a Detroit Catholic Central High School graduate. He was called to serve with the U.S. Army, during the Korean War. Afterwards, he attended the University of Detroit, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He was hired by WJBK, and worked for them as a sales representative, for 41 years. He belonged to the Adcraft Club of Detroit, and was a lifetime member.

He really enjoyed watching his grandchildren in their baseball and soccer games, and taking them out to eat afterwards. He was the beloved husband of the late Carol, and the beloved father of a son and a daughter. He will also be dearly missed by his grandchildren, three granddaughters, two grandsons, and his brother. The Funeral Mass was held at St. Mary of the Hills, in Rochester Hills. The Rite of Committal took place at the White Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, if desired.
