Bessie L. Frye passed away on August 21, 2012 at the age of 89. She was born to George "Otto" and Mildred (Matt) Lepper on April 21, 1923 in Harper, Kansas. She attended all grades in Harper and graduated with the Harper High Class of 1941. She attended The Wichita Business College taking secretarial classes.
Bessie later moved to Wichita to work for the KG & E Company as a secretary until her retirement. She then moved back home to care for her mother. She loved playing cards, especially bridge. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. When she wasn't with her family she could be found traveling the United States or overseas. She brought back many experiences to share with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mildred Lepper and her sister, Georgia Laverne (Lepper) Salters.
She leaves behind a niece, Cheryl Moon of Harper, nephews Gene Salters of Harper and Don Salters and his wife Virginia Kay of Wichita; also many great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
