Steven J. Anderson, age 56, passed away on Friday December 23, 2011 at his home.
Steve was born on January 27, 1955 in Burlington, Iowa the son of Jay and Dorothy (Statz) Anderson. He served in the US Army. On May 10, 1997 he married the former Carole Purdy in Janesville. Steve was a letter carrier at USPS main branch in Madison. He loved to travel with Carole and was an avid golfer and Packer fan.
Steve is survived by his wife Carole, his mother Dorothy Anderson of Stillwater, MN, a brother Don (Liz) Anderson of North Dakota, 2 sisters Mari (Gary) Becker of Arizona and Kathy Anderson of Stillwater, MN, a niece Jean Anderson, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Jay Anderson and a sister Sharon Anderson.
A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Friday December 30, 2011 at 11 AM at Holy Family Parish/St. Mary Of The Nativity, Marshall with Rev. Michael Radowicz presiding. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call on Thursday December 29, 2011 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the church and on Friday from 10 AM to 11 AM at the church.
