Dorothy Pauline was my paternal Great-Aunt.
Pauline was born to Belfer F and Bertha M George.
At the age of 18, Pauline was married to Clarence John Wagner in 1917.
They had one child who died at an early age.
Pauline taught school for many years. Her husband Clarence also taught, in the public schools. Over the years each became school principals. Later Clarence became the School District Superintendent. Eventually Pauline became the Superintendent of a neighboring school district. Both were respected educators for many years.
Many thanks to Derald Johnson for doing the research to locate the burial location of so many of Colorado's deceased and creating their memorials.
Heartfelt thanks to Marilyn Morgan for all of your help. Thank you for the beautiful photos of the gravestone and site.
Marilyn Morgan said of her visit to the cemetery,
"As I was driving up to the area where the headstone is located, 10 Whitetail deer wandered past, crossed the cemetery road and hopped the fence onto the golf course side. What a nice sight first thing in the morning!"
Thank you Marilyn, you brought the cemetery to life for us, across the miles. We shall be forever grateful for your help. FamilyFirst
