TWO RICHMOND BOYS ARE DROWNED TODAY PLAYING AT THE ICE POND
Two boys, William [Warren] Beatty and Richard Stevens, about 14 years old, were drowned in the old ice pond at Rayswift Lodge here about 1 p.m. today.
Their bodies were recovered but efforts of officials headed by Marshal Scott Burk and E. W. Hurlburt, Detroit Edison company employee with a pulmotor to save them were fruitless.
William [Warren] is the sone of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Beatty and Richard, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stevens, all of Richmond.
