Mrs. Bessie F. Lawler, 83 of Bowers Station near here died in Logansport State Hospital at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday. She had been in failing health several years.
She was born at Bowers Station and lived in this community all of her life. She was a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church and married Jessie M. Lawler in 1905. He died in 1950.
Surviving are two sons, Verne Lawler of Michigantown and LeRoy Lawler of Frankfort, three daughters Mrs. Edith Suter of Colfax, Mrs. Lillian McIntyre of Stockwell and Miss Ermadene Lawler of Colfax, a sister Mrs. W. D. Skeen of Danville, IL and a brother Frank Bowen of South Bend.
Friends may call at the Williams Funeral Home in Colfax after 2:00 p.m. Friday, the Rev Larry Ray officiating. Internment will be at Plainview Cemetery.
