Upon graduation from a secretary college, she worked for a firm in New York, and later in Arlington, VA. She married a handsome Marine, Ben L. Baugh, in 1959, who predeceased her in 2002. She has a daughter, Katrina Clayton, which was with her on most days, and was by her bedside as she took the journey towards Heaven. Gerry has two sisters, Maxine Baker, Harrisonburg, VA and Yvonne Walker, Alabama. Her father, T.R. Rogers, mother, Annie Morris Rogers, and brother, J.T. Rogers preceded her in death. Additionally, she leaves behind multiple nieces and nephews.
Gerry had a big heart for dogs and cats, especially those with a special need.
