WILLIAM SICKLE HOWELL was born in Salem, NC Sept.3,1868 to James A. and Susan Catherine Weatherman Howell. He departed this life Sunday, March 19,1950 being 82 years, 4 months and 16 days of age.
When he was 21 years old he married Margaret Deaton (Deyton). To this union were born five children, three sons and two daughters. One son Joe preceded him in death. Shortly after he and his first wife were married, they moved from North Carolina and settled in Camden Co. Missouri. His first wife died May 10, 1917 [June 11, 1917].
Twenty two Grandchildren, and Ten Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services were held 3:30 O'clock Tuesday afternoon March 21 in Slagle Baptist Church with the Rev. Flech Davis Officiating, assisted by the Rev.Virgil Wells. Burial was in the Slagle Cemetery under the direction of the Erwin & Blue Funeral Home of Bolivar.
