Mary E. Bean, 73, Peoria, formerly of Chillicothe and Chenoa, passed away Wednesday (Nov. 16, 2011) at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born Jan. 28, 1938 in Chenoa to Joseph C. and Dorothy M. Dowling Cleary. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Patrick and Ralph. She married Elwood E. Bean on June 11, 1960 in Chenoa.
Surviving are one daughter, Julianne (Robert) Schielein, Chillicothe; one son, Stephen (Lynn) Bean, Deep Run, N.C.; six grandchildren, Scott, Craig and Elizabeth Schielein and Stephanie, Kelley and Tyler Bean; one great-granddaughter, Alexis; three sisters, Dorothy (Chuck) Shoemaker, Normal and Catherine Cleary and Margaret (Harvey) Walter, both of Bloomington and one brother, Michael (Leslie) Cleary, Chenoa.
