S.J.Alexander of Van Alstyne Passes Away Here Monday

Sidney Johnson Alexander of Van Alstyne, died at 12:15 p.m. Monday in the City-County Hospital here. He was a former resident of McKinney, and Nocona and was a retired leather merchant, member of the W.O.W. for 53 years and a member of the First Christian Church in Van Alstyne.
He married Miss Cora Baker, March 5,1892 in Montague , the couple celebrating their 64th wedding anniversary the past March.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. S.J. Alexander, of Van Alstyne;four sons, B.E. Alexander, of Corpus Christi; E. S. Alexander, of Manville, J.W. Alexander, of Van Alstyne and W.F, Alexander of Bonham; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be held at the First Chrisian Church in Van Alstyne at 10 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by Rev. Ray Flaherty and Rev. Jesse Pugh, with burial in the Nocona Cemetery directed by The Flesher Funeral Homes.
