Lucinda married Martin Setzer Oct.30,1861.This date came from Martin's obituary.Martin and Lucinda were both living in Rock County,Wisconsin when they were married.
Martin was farming with his brother Noah Setzer until he bought his own land. Lucinda was a servant in a household near the Noah Setzer property.
In 1861 they set up their own household and began their lives together.
I could not locate a birth, marriage or death certificate for Lucinda. The popular consensus seems to be that she died in Waukeshau County,Wisconsin. Why she should have been there at that time in her life I do not know.
I believe she was the child of Peter and Perlina Rhinehart and thus a sister to Horace Rhinehart. He came from N.Y. at an earlier time, settled land in Greene and Rock Counties,Wisconsin before setteling permanently in Vernon County,Wisconsin.
Lucinda named one of her daughters Perlina,Horace named one of his daughters Lucinda, this could be a coincidence but maybe not.
Perlina Rhinehart Memorial#92955739 and Peter Rhinehart Memorial#10284386. Horace A.Rhinehart Memorial#7843095,Horace is buried in the same cemetery as Lucinda.
I have not connected Lucinda to Peter and Perlina Rhinehart because I am not yet sure that they are her parents.
