Stephen Y. Bagby, while in France with the 35 Division was wounded by machine gun fire at the battle of Argonne Forest. Disabled by a wound to his right leg . He crawled to a shell hole for safety. he was without medical attention for over 48 hours. Battle of Argonne Forest. He was with Pvt. Co.B.140 Inf.
Served over seas 4-25-1918 to 1-1-1919 On 1930 census at age 33 is in fathers household
Never married, no children. Handicaped.
