Hannah W. Embree died yesterday afternoon at the Barclay Home, E. Chestnut street, from a complication of diseases. She was the widow of the late Pierson Embree and had resided the greater part of her life, in West Chester. In religion she was a Friend and attended the Orthodox Meeting regularly as long as her health would permit. There are left to survive her a sister, Julia Walter, and a brother, Henry Walter, of Malvern, and a half-sister Phebe Walter, who resides with the family of Jonhathan Eldridge West Chestnut street. Alfred Embree, Marshallton, and the family of the late Josua Embree, West Bradford, are also relatives of the deceased.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral without further notice. To meet at Friend's Meeting House, Church and Chestnut streets, on Sixth-day, 8th mo. 25th, at 10 o'clock a.m.

The funeral of Hannah W. Embree took place from the Chestnut Street Friends' Meeting House yesterday and was largely attended by relatives and friends. Thomas Whitson spoke at the home. Interment was made at Friends' Cemetery, Oaklands.

*Note: It is surmised that the article misplaced the cemtery as Oaklands, as she is most assuredly in Rosedale.
