"JAMES H. HONEY
James Herman Honey, 66, of 3551 S. B. St., Oxnard, died Friday of a lengthy illness.
A funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Coleman Mortuary, La Habra. The Rev. Robin Slay of the First Southern Baptist Church of La Habra will officiate. Burial will be at Loma Vista Memorial Park, Fullertgon.
Friends may call at the Payton Mortuary, Oxnard, today from 2 to 8 p.m.
A native of Stoutland, Mo., Honey came to Ventura County 18 years ago. He was retired as a packing house foreman for Oxnard Citrus. He had been a member of American Legion Post 48, Oxnard.
Honey is survived by his wife, Essie Marie and sisters, Ruth Haseltine of La Habra and Ampa Camp of Brea."
