Julia America Crayton CHERRY was born 25 November, 1859, in Jackson County, Tennessee, and died 20 December, 1887, in Oak Grove, Clay County, Tennessee. She married Harrison Wayne CHERRY in Jackson County, Tennessee, on 21 April, 1873. She was the daughter of Alexander Jackson CHERRY and Elizabeth MINOR, Alexander Jackson CHERRY'S "second" wife. Alexander Jackson CHERRY was married the first time to an Elizabeth MOORE, on 10 April, 1853, in Monroe County, Kentucky. I'm not sure if she passed or if they were divorced but Alexander Jackson CHERRY married "before" 25 November, 1859, to Elizabeth MINOR, the daughter of John MINOR and Margaret JARVIS. This has been proven by a court document that names "Elizabeth MINOR CHERRY" as John MINOR'S daughter, and mother of Julia America Crayton CHERRY.
