Harry E. Hare
Harry E. Hare, 53, of 211 Pearson street, died 8:35 PM Saturday in the Haven
convalescent home following an extended illness. Mr. Hare was born July 13, 1916 in New Castle to the late Harry and Florence Crowthers Hare. He was a member of the full gospel tabernacle and had been employed for 16 years as a boiler operator for Pennsylvania Power Company. He was a member of the American Legion Post 343 and had served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in Europe during World War II. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Samuel (Sharon) Singer of New Castle and Miss Joyce L. Hare of West Pittsburgh; two sons, Harry E. of New Castle and Gary J. of West Pittsburgh; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Maxine)Alderman of Fort Pierce, Florida; a brother, Wayne Hare of Lakewood, Ohio, and three
grandchildren. Friends may call at the William F. DeCarbo funeral home, 926 Cunningham avenue, today from 7 to 9 pm and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm A service will be held at the funeral home at 1 pm Wednesday with the Rev. George W. Henderson of the Second United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be at Oak park Cemetery.
